Derick Barnhart, M.Sc. – Architectural Engineer & Founder of Centium Architecture LLC

With over three decades of expertise in architectural engineering, Derick Barnhart has established himself as a visionary leader in building design and structural innovation. Since 2013, he has successfully operated as an independent practitioner, leveraging his technical mastery and creative problem-solving to deliver high-impact projects across Europe and the United States.

Mr. Derick Barnhart’s career began at Attika Architekten, where he spent nine years contributing to large-scale urban housing developments. In 2000, he transitioned to a sole practitioner role, collaborating with renowned architect Robert Müller in his hometown of Flevoland, Netherlands. After relocating to the U.S. five years ago, he rebranded his practice as Centium Architecture LLC, reflecting his commitment to precision and holistic design.

A graduate of the Amsterdam School of the Arts (Architectural Design) and holder of a Master’s in Civil Engineering, Mr. Barnhart specializes in:
